Product Laning (Sanitary)

Product laning is designed to accept random product across the width of the conveyor belt and place them in lanes.  There are several options to product laning. One way is to accept multiple lanes of product and automatically merges them into 1 or more lanes. It consists of a belt or plastic chain conveyor equipped with a series of manually adjustable static plows or powered side belts.  Other ways consist of an elevation change using stationary UHMW guide with a knife edge top to allow product to fall into predetermined lanes. Chicaning system is also another way of product laning.

Key Features:

Typically for light and medium sized loads.  Can be suitable for product and packaged handling. Light duty to medium construction.
