Case Handling Conveyor

Case Conveyors – Non-Sanitary

There are many types of case handling conveyors including belt driven, lineshaft driven and powered roller. The correct selection of drive style is based on the application.  Case conveyors can be used for straight transportation from point A to point B. Case conveyors can also be used for accumulation. Accumulation allows cases to be held on the line for a certain period of time and still allow upstream processes to continue while downstream equipment is stopped.  The most common roller diameter is 1.9” diameter and spaced on 3” centers, but many variations are available.

Key Features:

Inexpensive, readily available, with lots of merge, divert and accessory options.

Options:

  • Belt driven roller
  • Lineshaft
  • DC driven roller
  • Accumulation
  • Transportation
  • Inclines / Declines (many times with belting)
  • Diverts / merges / sorters
  • Different roller sizes and roller centers
