Fabric Belt Conveyor

Affordable Conveying – Sanitary

Fabric belt conveyors can be used for a variety of applications and have many, many options. They are relatively inexpensive and very common. The fabric belt is supported by a frame and driven by a pulley with friction due to a tensioned belt. There are endless belt options with materials, coatings, coefficients of friction, thicknesses and layers.

Key Features:

Low cost, basic conveyor, typically quick shipping, lots of options as shown below. Typically for light and medium sized loads. Can be suitable for bulk product or packaged.

Options:

  • Can be built to any practical length and width
  • Tight transfer options
  • End driven or center driven
  • Low profile options
  • Frame material options: aluminum, carbon steel painted, stainless
  • Is also available as non-sanitary (link to non-sanitary version)
  • Belting:
    • Belt material options for many environments and applications
    • Belt friction from low to high friction
    • Various tensioning devices
    • Various tracking options including v-guides and automatic belt trackers
  • Speed can go from very low to very high (hundreds of feet per minute)
  • Roller bed frames can be built to reduce friction
  • Open frame construction (removable carry ways)
