Supply Chain Manager

NCC is a 35-year-old company that provides integrated solutions for food and consumer products manufacturers. Most of the core business at NCC focuses on Turnkey Systems consisting of pre-engineered and/or customized conveyor solutions with controls and installation services.  We also design and build complete packaging lines, develop custom conveyance solutions, and provide engineering services.  We are vertically integrated with manufacturing capabilities, welding, control panel building, wiring, and a modern, clean facility designed for full FAT’s.  This is a strong and stable business with steady calculated growth.

General Description of Duties:

The role of the Supply Chain Manager is to lead a team of people to obtain, organize, and manage materials to support our customers solutions. In this role, analytical skills, organizational skills, good judgement, and negotiation skills are all critical. The needs of the business are fast paced and require extreme flexibility, quick thinking and strong follow through.

 

Key Results Areas:

  • Lead, Manage, and hold people Accountable
  • Establish and execute a successful sourcing strategy for the company
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Manage the inventory of the company
  • Maintain efficient logistics movement of materials inside the shop and outbound to customers
  • Manage the ERP system of the company

 

Required Skills:

  • Supply Chain background in manufacturing
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve success

 

Ideal Experience:

  • 5 years in a supply chain leadership role
  • 3 years minimum in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an engineer to order environment
  • Experience with Global Shop ERP system
