NCC Automated Systems has an opportunity in our Manufacturing Group. We are looking for a quick, experienced, driven leader with a background to manage and lead our manufacturing team. NCC is a 35-year-old company that provides integrated solutions for food and consumer products manufacturers. Most of the core business at NCC focuses on Turnkey Systems consisting of pre-engineered and/or customized conveyor solutions with controls and installation services.  We also design and build complete packaging lines, develop custom conveyance solutions, and provide engineering services.  We are vertically integrated with manufacturing capabilities, welding, control panel building, wiring, and a modern, clean facility designed for full FAT’s.  This is a strong and stable business with steady calculated growth.

This is a salary position with benefits, health insurance, paid vacation, bonus program, and 401K.

 

General Description of Duties:

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the overall management of the manufacturing department, including both administrative, scheduling, and technical aspects.  They must possess strong leadership and communication skills to be successful with this critical part of the business.

  • Lead, Manage, and hold people Accountable
  • Maintain a strong fabrication department of people and machines to support the business goals and projects
  • Manage assembly department(s) that execute products and projects for the business
  • Ensure testing of the product and/or project quality to meet customer expectations

 

Required Skills:

  • Manufacturing background
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve success

 

Ideal Experience:

  • 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role
  • 3 years minimum in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an engineer to order environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing
