NCC Automated Systems has an opportunity in our core business Sales group for a Key Accounts Manager. We are looking for an experienced, driven individual with a technical sales background in the material handling industry to identify, manage and grow key accounts, primarily customers that manufacture food products.

NCC is a 34-year-old company that provides integrated solutions for food and consumer products manufacturers. Most of the core business at NCC focuses on Turnkey Systems consisting of pre-engineered and/or customized conveyor solutions with controls and installation services.  We also design and build complete packaging lines, develop custom conveyance solutions, and provide engineering services.  We are vertically integrated with manufacturing capabilities, welding, control panel building, wiring, and a modern, clean facility designed for full FAT’s.  This is a strong and stable business with steady calculated growth.

General Description of Duties:

The Key Accounts Manager will ensure that the packaging equipment and field services needs are satisfied for NCC’s key accounts, identify and win new business opportunities for key accounts, and develop relationships with potential accounts. To be successful as a Key Account Manager, you should be able to analyze data and sales statistics and improve business and marketing strategies. Ultimately, an exceptional key account manager should be able to manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of services provided.

Required Skills:

  • Technical sales and engineering background; some electrical and installation a plus
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent presentation skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple key customers

 

Ideal Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Sales is preferred.
  • Five to ten years of account management and outside sales experience in the material handling industry, preferably dealing with larger consumer packaged goods food companies
  • Closing complex deals and negotiating contracts
  • Knowledge of conveyance equipment and packaging systems (mechanical and electrical)
  • Willingness to travel to customer site locations for sales calls, presentations and technical meetings
