Winpak Experiences with NCC

We’ve had the good fortune of working with NCC on over a dozen projects during the last fifteen years. These projects ranged from simple carton conveyors to complex systems involving multiple filling machines, conveyor systems, case erectors, pack offs, top sealers, coders & palletizers.
The key to our success with NCC has been the teamwork & cooperation that typifies their organizations. The relationship has never been that of a vendor and customer. Projects have been planned and organized with the mindset of benefiting both parties.

NCC has grown into an organization with the knowledge and experience to fully integrate systems that have met Winpak’s and our customer’s needs. NCC will dig into the details and plan for all facets of the project. If problems or issues arise NCC has stepped up to the plate and delivered professional results in a timely fashion. Projects have been completed on time and within budget and very few instances have occurred where “Change Orders” or “Up Charges” were even an issue.

Many of our projects had to be completed in phases due to the time constraints and production windows available. I can’t remember an instance where each phase wasn’t completed during the allotted time and the customer was back online within the agreed upon time frame.

We’ve had issues with other integrators that were selected by our customers. NCC came to the rescue on a project in California a few years ago when one of our customers selected and paid another vendor to relocate and reconfigure an existing system. This vendor did not complete the tasks on time and failed miserably with the programming changes and device reconfiguring. We advised our customer to allow NCC to come in and complete the debug and start up. Kudos to NCC for coming to the rescue on a job they had initially bid on.

As long as I’m involved with the integration of filling machines and automation systems NCC will at the top of my contact list.
