Kevin Mauger – President

Kevin J. Mauger - President, NCC Automated Systems, Inc. for DVIRC

  • Started at NCC in 1994, the day after graduating college
  • Purchased into company in 2006
  • Has a keen understanding that we are in business to service our customers and help them succeed in their endeavors
  • Has a deep desire to continuously improve the company, to perfect the process and to in turn provide more value to our customers
  • Understands the value of our employees and rewards enthusiasm, innovation and superior customer service

Les Patkos – Director of Packaging Systems Group

  • Involved in the conveyor and material handling industry for over 20 years with over $50 million in sales volume
  • Oversees system responsibilities on major projects by managing the project engineers assigned to the projects
  • Oversees the communication between customer and NCC personnel to assure system design compliance
  • Shop inspection of equipment prior to shipping and follow-up trips to customer’s location after project completion is a normal part of his routine

Jason Link – Operations Manager

Jason Link

  • Over 15 years of entrepreneurial, leadership and engineering experience
  • Manages large integrated projects involving multiple equipment suppliers, contractors and NCC production of custom equipment
  • Leads cross-functional teams of engineers, manufacturing and project managers to successful order fulfillment
  • Leads the organization to improve execution, efficiency, and profits

Steven Summer – Controller

  • Started at NCC in December 2008
  • Over 12 years’ experience as Controller
  • Responsible for all Accounting functions and reporting
  • Manages all HR activities including the company’s insurance policies and employee benefits’ packages
  • Works with President, management and employees as needed on special projects

Jon Doughty – Systems Sales Engineer, Key Accounts

  • Involved in the sales and commissioning of conveyor and material handling systems for over 15 years
  • Direct liaison with customers and NCC personnel to assure system design compliance
  • Oversees system responsibilities on major projects by managing the project engineers assigned to the projects
  • Shop inspection of equipment prior to shipping
  • On site visits of project installations and customer’s acceptance

Wayne Snyder – Sales Engineer

  • Joined NCC in March 2010 as a Sales engineer
  • Involved in conveyor manufacturing for over 25 years
  • Ran family business, Valley Forge Conveyors, Inc.
  • Held positions in design, engineering, purchasing, & inside and outside sales

Brian Grochowalski – Applications Engineer

  • Responsible for equipment designs, project management, and conversing with the customers
  • Develops conceptual ideas for their needs on a system or single piece of equipment for their plant
  • Designs conveyors for all phases of production and packaging lines.
  • Management of multiple projects overseeing integration, implementation and installation

Michael Shea – Product Engineer

  • With the company since 2011
  • B.S. Industrial Engineering
  • Product Manager for Glide-Line Conveyors
  • Aids in Sales, Applications, Project Management, Conveyor Design and Detailing

Michael Milkowich – Sales Engineer/Optical

  • Re-joined NCCAS in 2013.
  • Over 10 years’ experience in the Project Engineering/Management side of the Material Handling Business.
  • Five years focused in lens handling in the Optical Industry.
  • Hands on experience in installation and system start-up.

RJ Moyer – Project Engineer / Project Manager

  • RJ has been with the company through different intervals of his career from its inception in the mid-80s. Joining the ranks as the 4th employee of NCC, RJ has 30 years overall engineering experience in the Material Handling industry
  • Worked on the service side as well as the customer side, gaining an understanding of customer’s concern for value-added automation and improvements serving OEE, risk management & operational safety
  • Disciplined project manager with strong financial acumen, project methodologies
  • Diversified exposure in the food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Responsible for needs assessment review, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, financial accountability
  • Experienced in designing custom material handling equipment, primarily for the FDA & USDA industry utilizing common support software,
  • Installation and project start-ups in support of organizational business strategies

Len Longo – Project Engineer / Project Manager

  • Brings project leadership and vast experience from the food and materials handling industry
  • Strong background in project planning, engineering design and project management
  • Field support for customer acceptance of large scale food processing system
  • Works with Engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to optimize part order quantities for conveyor projects

Nicholas Swauger – Project Engineer / Project Manager

  • Responsibilities include:  coordination design activities, manufacturing, pre-engineered equipment procurement
  • Contractor bid processing, acceptance testing, start-ups, GMA compliance and acceptance of a project
  • Directly involved in implementing risk assessments, case histories, applications analysis, robotic utilization analysis, gripper evaluation
  • Involved in reach studies, field dimensions, system layout designs, system approval drawings and FAT/PAT

Bob Nettleton – Project Manager / Install & Commissioning Manager

  • Involved in the packaging, conveyor and material handling industry for over 25 years
  • In his 6 years with NCC, he has managed and designed small custom systems up to multimillion dollar projects
  • Responsible for design layout and integration of multi-line and multiple process packaging systems
  • Coordinates integration and communications of all components in the projects

Chris Benton – CI Manager/Project Manager

  • Joined the NCC Team in 2014
  • A hands-on-engineer with over 20 years of manufacturing experience in the electronics, glass, and consumer products industries
  • Lean certified in Japan by Shingijutsu
  • Experience in project management, manufacturing operations, engineering design & leadership, field service, customer service, quality management, and facilities and management

Eddie Santiago – Manufacturing Project Manager

  • Joined NCC in 1989
  • Extensive welding and fabrication experience with custom equipment
  • Lead installation teams on large scale projects for over 20 years
  • Directs manufacturing teams to complete projects within given time, cost and technical constraints
  • Mentors and trains all internal personnel on good manufacturing practices

Marty Zona – Mechanical Engineering Manager

Marty Zona

  • Joined NCC in 1998, bringing experience in the design of material handling systems
  • Responsible for various aspects of conveyor design, project management and fabrication supervision
  • Designs packaging conveyors for food industry – product, carton and case handling systems

Ron Schwar – Product Development Engineer

Ron Schwar

  • Innovative designer with extensive experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and other 3D-modeling tools
  • Experienced in developing systems suitable for the food and drug industry
  • Extensive experience working with clients in product development to improve manufacturability
  • Expertise has led to him taking a direct role in the project coordination scheduling and management of critical projects

Mike Ferraro – Mechanical Engineer / CAD Administrator

  • Joined NCC in 2012 as a Mechanical Designer
  • Experience using SolidWorks and other 3-D modeling programs
  • Responsible for preparing both conceptual and complete design layouts to be used through the design and manufacturing process
  • Designs packaging conveyors for food industry – product, carton, and case handling systems

Yvonne Edwards – Mechanical Engineer

  • Joined the NCC Team in 1991 as a mechanical detailer / Designer
  • Returned to NCC in 2013
  • Responsibilities have included Project Management, designing custom conveyors, creating the NCC Purchasing Department, inventory and stock management
  • Supports the design team for any industry required

 Gary Davis – Mechanical Engineer

  • Joined NCC in 2013 as a Mechanical Designer
  • Over 17 years of experience designing custom, high-sanitation conveyors for the food industry as well as other various types of material handling equipment
  • Experience designing in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Certified SolidWorks Professional, Certified Advanced Weldment Specialist, Certified Advanced Mold Tool Specialist

Todd Milburn – Controls Engineering Manager

  • B.S. Information Technology from University of Phoenix, Phoenix AZ
  • A.S. Engineering from Mitchel College, New London CT
  • 20+ years for experience as a Controls Engineer
  • Designs, integrates and programs automatic machinery control systems and provides general engineering support
  • Estimates engineering and fabrication times, creates project schedules and supervises electrical assembly
  • Received E.P. Rivard Award for Achievement in Mathematics

Brian Potter – Controls Engineer

  • Over 15 years of controls and 20 years of engineering experience
  • Design and programming for complete packaging line controls
  • Expertise in container handling, filling, weighing, feedback, labeling, cleaning, inspection and bulk product handling

Jack Hockel – Controls Engineer

  • Experienced designer of equipment to customer’s validation and F.A.T. requirements
  • Installs and commissions manufacturing equipment in customer facilities
  • 5+ years of trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment at customer sites
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • ACAD for electrical drawings, facility layouts and equipment placement
  • PLC programming software: Siemens Step 7, Omron and GE
  • Operator interface software: Siemens and CTC
  • Machine vision system design and programming: Cognex and DVT

Bob Berry – Materials Manager

  • Joined NCC in 2011
  • Procurement, cost tracking and the development and implementation of inventory control
  • Responsible for preparing both conceptual and complete design layouts to be used through the design and manufacturing process
  • Member of the development team for the company’s custom engineering release and purchasing software

Nancy Brobst – Bookkeeper

  • Joined NCC in April 2004
  • Over 30 years’ experience in the Office Manager/Bookkeeper role
  • Valuable member of the NCC Accounting Dept.; leads the AR, AP & Job Costing Functions
  • Works with President, Management and employees as needed on special projects

Nicole Tamburino – Administrative Assistant

  • Technically minded and detail oriented with a solid history of customer service and project support in the manufacturing and technical services industries
  • Responsibilities include: assisting the engineering based sales and project teams, managing spare parts orders and generating internal and customer facing documentation
  • Exceptional researcher and problem-solver with strong ability to interact well with people, take action and work with integrity
