Modular Plastic Belt

Modular, plastic belts range in size from under 1/2" pitch to a full 2" depending upon the manufacter and the application.  Tight transfer requirements require a small pitch belt, while heavier applications require thicker, stronger belts.   There are a multitude of styles, ranging from open to closed, straight to radius, and of course different levels of cleanabiltiy and material.

Straight conveyors

Curved Conveyors

Fuly Welded USDA Belt Curve

Split Belt Curves

The purpose of a split belt curve is to take advantage of the smaller turning radius of narrower belts.  The draw back is that product riding down the center of the belt will tend to twist.
